    My dear
    I don’t know the theory
I just know that God healed my emotions 14 years ago
when I couldn’t feel. I think I had PTSD at least the doctors would say so
I was healed while in a worship service, all I did was sing along.

    God did it.

      That’s incredible, Tessa.

I do see God working–I know the change from fear to freedom in my own heart came from God. It’s just hard when I see people still suggesting a so-called “therapy” to change others’ hearts. It makes me think of Jesus and how he always flips on its side whatever it is that people are coming to him about. That pain–and that view of Jesus–is what inspired this poem.

Tamara, I know it’s hard. You’re on the front lines of this battle. But it’s one that’s so important. And one that we desperately need people just like you to stand up in. Thank you so much. Your voice is important. If it wasn’t you wouldn’t be getting so much resistance, right? Take up your sword. Put on your armor. And stand in the Love of Christ and your inheritance as a daughter of God. And Grace to those who are still in the learning curve… be encouraged, Dear Tamara!

You’re absolutely right on all counts. Thank you so much for this encouragement, Jen.

Love this. Thanks for standing in the gap, and for shining the light of love and truth so that others might see more clearly, and grow in grace and compassion.
